This route is graded white or very easy. Perfect for beginners!

Ride out the club gates straight over the district road onto the marked routes. Left up the gentle climb that will take you to near the timber loading-zone where you exit left along the forestry road. There will be many signs leading to sections of single-track – but if this is your first time on the trails we suggest you keep to the forestry roads and follow the 10km route markings. However, if you are looking for more excitement try out the legendary “Boomslang” trail, which will bring you back to the forestry road. Stay on this road and at the 3.5 km mark turn left down the hill. Keep left at the bottom where you will be treated to spectacular views of the Karkloof Falls picnic area. Continue along the rivers edge – but don’t be tempted to take any further single-track options as these are more technical. At the 5.7 km mark turn right down the road and then sharp left onto “Heaven”. This section is easy and will take you over the district road and through the pine plantations back to the club.
